Hey, why not take the parts and build your own with a RPi? You could get a laser thermal reader and network it with your other appliances?

You know, you can buy a new oven for probably less than $40 and even a toaster/convection for probably around $100 but if you want to try one last time to repair what you've got, I have two places to try: 
Fox Appliance Parts www. fox atlanta.com/ 
and believe it or not, www.Sears.com actually has a very good appliance parts listing for many other brands besides the Sears/Kenmore brand (they don't seem to stock anything in Atl, but can deliver it within a few days if in stock). 


I would start with Fox, they will be cheaper if they can help you.

The Brand X unit my kids have had is all steel rods tack-welded to heater elements. Try getting that apart. 

Granted, I am of the generation that remembers Dad taking out all the tubes from the TV and going to the pharmacy to test them all, then buying the faulty tube (at the pharmacy, mind you. Bend your young twitter heads around that one...) and taking then all back and putting them all back in and having a working TV afterwards.
