Hi Richard,
Thanks for the tips. Those didn't work. However, that inspired me to try other things. Using the ALT key instead of the FN key does work. So, these are the keystrokes I've found that work on my android tablet with bluetooth keyboard. Some of this may be program dependent, but it works on the Jota text editor.
ALT-Up - PgUp
ALT-Dn - PgDn
ALT-Left - Home
ALT-Right - End
The following seem to also work as they normally do on Windows. I don't know if these are normal for Linux.
CTRL-C - Copy
CTRL-X - Cut
CTRL-V - Paste
