[ale] Edubuntu Local Apps and Hard Drives : was Need Help sending PCs to Haiti

The free version of dban hasn't been under development for some time so it has issues talking to some drive controllers. I use Parted Magic (live CD) that has Nwipe which uses the same tool for wiping hard drives as dban.
