[ale] pay rates vs. experience

Heh.  Even though I still believe that giving talks at ALE would be good
for me, as long as I tried to make them good, I don't think it's a good
time for me now, for various reasons---In brief, fatherhood plus startup
work environment.

But just for fun I imagined what I'd do if there were 48 hours in my day,
and I think it would be much fun to write an Evernote client for Linux with
some distinguishing features like,

  * file-based front end using fuse

  * seamless getting-things-done support using Evernote notes as backing
store

That would be worth talking about ... especially fun to talk about if I
managed to write it in Javascript using Node.js.  That seems to be a trendy
topic.  :)
