Apache is running on port 80.  The device at site A needs to contact 
data center A.  Site A has a firewall that is locked down.  I can use 80 
and that is it.  The server at data center A needs to run Apache _AND_ 
some real-time sync code on port 80.

1000 SSH tunnels would be a nightmare to manage.
