[ale] Local source for 12V 3A "Wall Wart" AC Adapter?

A good thrift store will have a bundle of adapters of every common,
non-fractional (eg 8.4v) voltage.

I miss the one in my old neighborhood in new orleans at the corner of
carrollton and tulane (where the rock n bowl used to be) - they had a
monstrous bundle of power adapters. Part of the fun of it was just
trying to unbundle one of them!
