Please do not reply to threads or messages to start a new thread or
topic with a new subject. We refer to is as "thread hijacking". It
messes with many of the threaded readers and makes it look like you're
replying to someone else when you were not. Start a new message as a
new message and do not use reply for this.
It looked like your message about "Lightweight Portable Secure (Linux)"
was a reply to the "Smart Cards" thread and this was a reply to that
reply, which I don't think was what you meant.
The mail clients maintain "In-Reply-To:" and "Thread-Id" headers for
managing that so it happens even though you don't seen anything in the
message.
