I think if there is a god he has a sense of humor.   That being the case I feel confident this guy will be around to see yet another blown prediction.

Once someone having a really bad day said:  "Why me, God?"   In a sonorous tone I replied:  "Because you were handy."

Well, you can discuss it with him at the post-apocalypse symposium to
follow.  Mr. Camping is now 89.  There's a non-zero chance that _his_
world will end before Oct 21 anyways.
