Full stop. I. Did. Not. Attack. Geoffrey. Period. I used irony (or
perhaps sarcasm, it is sometimes hard to tell the difference) to show
how hollow Jim Kinney's argument was regarding his views of others who
have different views: ie, "if you were not stupid, then you would agree,
but since you are simple (possibly broken), you disagree and I should
not be concerned with offending you, because, well, you are stupid". I
did not attack Geoffrey, I was agreeing with him (apologies Geoffrey if
you took that as an attack on YOU) in that it is out of line,
unnecessary, heavy handed to just attack personally a person because
they question your views. Attack the logic, the facts, the assumptions,
but the person? Personal attacks are an indication you have no
arguments.
