[ale] [OT] rant - decadence in society - DRM

Atlas Shrugged was really good up until John Galt's final speech wherein
he basically repeated the same concept over and over in different ways
for pages and pages.
I saw some merit in the viewpoint Ayn Rand's protagonists but to a
certain extent it seemed to advocate never helping others out. It
seemed overall a "survival of the fittest" kind of idea which rather
violates the social contract in my view.
(waits for the obvious question...)

But you can read my copy of Atlas Shrugged with any pair of eye glasses
you own. ;)
