[ale] ranting about new Ubuntu UI

Flame away! I think there's been a huge influx of ego and an exodus of
smarts in the interface design of both fedora 15 gnome3 and Ubuntu unity. By
all means, flame on and hope the devs read it and weep and make a better ui
for next major release.
I'm not sure they could do worse.
