[ale] java frustrations

Don't confuse java and the java plugin library.

I've never had to muck with the java binary itself as you're suggesting.
(Well I have but not for firefox - We have Oracle apps that are
dependent on the java binary and sometimes require a specific version
(e.g. 1.4 instead of 1.6).

  ls -l /usr/bin/java /etc/alternatives/java
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 46 Dec 28 19:59 /etc/alternatives/java ->
/usr/lib/jvm/jre-1.6.0-openjdk.x86_64/bin/java
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 22 Dec 28 16:56 /usr/bin/java ->
/etc/alternatives/java

This is Centos by the way.

Can they possibly make this any more screwed up?
