[ale] semi [OT] running a robot with linux

Fuun!!

Yeah, I'd like to talk to you.  And please don't take my comments as
final.  Off hand I still like the idea of linking together relatively
simple systems to make interesting behaviors rather than tryin' to do
it all in one monolithic processor/kernel thing.  But heck, I already
know C++ and Python, and I'm more interested in learning about the
microprocessor side of things.  Maybe we can collaborate!
