[ale] FCC approves Comcast takeover of NBC

My impression at least a couple years ago is the GE didn't mind NBC
losing money because they used as a big PR firm.

ie. If you want a bill passed that will make GE 10's of billions, have
NBC drive the narrative / politics of the process such that the bill
would pass.  NBC's losses were small potatoes compared to those
profits.

Maybe that didn't work out with them based on the last election, so
they're dumping it.
