[ale] Linux GUI or CLI backup tool

Let's think about this.. You would only use a GUI for specifying what
to backup. You want to backup to happen automatically. You DO NOT want
to have to use a GUI to make the backup happen. If the "what to
backup" doesn't change often, you don't need a GUI at all. I suggest
