We use DBAN Darik's Boot and Nuke to erase deprovisioned server's hard
drives to ensure that our customer's data is completely removed from
the drives before they are returned to available inventory. I work for
a major internet hosting company in Atlanta, GA, we always go with the
autonuke option it takes a while to erase, but it ensures that the
data can't be recovered.
