I know better, but can't stop....
The profit margin of "Big Oil" is only about 8% to 11%. Groceries are
about 10% to 15% Software and Services are at about 9.9%: So, I fail
to see who "Those People" are. Politicians who stop the exploitation of
our natural resources, then I agree.
BTW, If you double the cost of a product, but keep the same profit
margin, you will have "record" profits. 8% of $100 is $8: 8% of $200
is $16. See? Record profits! We have to do SOMETHING! THEY are
raking in money hand over fists!
