whilst moving a lab at GSU to a new building, I ran across a box of 12"
floppies and the drive they fit in. The drive was probably 30 pounds.
Electrical connectors were large enough that they could have been alligator
clips. The drive and the floppies joined the contents of 4 punch card file
cabinets in the dumpster. The cabinets were reused as optics storage
cabinets.
