I'd fudge a little bigger rather than smaller in an emergency,
or if I had nothing to lose in trying.
ie: 3500-4000 to replace a 3300..
The issue might be that 2000 would not be enough
and either blow soon or cause other things to
and 4000 might draw some high initial current
and/or change some inductive/capacitive harmony.
You are way over the value of your labor, but seem to

Note: 2 * 2000uf in parallel is 4000uf.
