Hmm, well, I would expect that if it's built to run on Windows, then
there is not a big deployment issue, maybe I'm wrong.
Certainly, we don't want to maintain two code bases, or at least
minimize that effort as much as possible.

Yes, web app has been removed from the equation. I'm not sure about a
gui built with perl, haven't considered that.

Mac is definitely a possibility, Android, not so much.
