I know the site works well with firefox (current) and safari 5 on macosx.

The guy who coded that site did it in Linux so it should work there..

I would suggest not running NoScript on the site. That might (keyword might)
help.

They’re not URLs (e.g. like the one in the original email that got you to
the web site).   They’re graphics that link you to things (i.e. the 3 people
graphic takes you to the planned speakers.)

Those links show up fine for me, using Firefox 3.6.3 on Kubuntu.

Apparently firefox does not render it properly, thus there are no links
in the 'upper-right corner.' Not a good thing when a 'linux happening'
website doesn't render on linux's default browser. :(
