Point taken, so I'll preface this link I'm about to post by shouting

Now here's an interesting clip of an 87 year old former oil drilling
professional (haven't thoroughly checked out the source of the video)
explaining
the disaster to his daughter, who keeps prompting him to bring it down
to a layperson level.  It was informative for me.
