Current Imports: 11M (9M crude)
Current Exports: 1.7M (almost all refined product)
Domestic Production: 5M crude
These numbers fluctuate a lot with prices and seasons political
tensions and uncountable other factors, so a lot of the numbers quoted
earlier are probably correct enough for this discussion.
Though, I noticed where you got your numbers. You were looking at
refined petroleum products. Your 90% number is refinery output, when
it's where the refinery input (crude) comes from that causes world
political and economic issues.
