[ale] OT: Security code on Credit/Debit cards

As I noted previously there are choices for using secured credit cards.
Not saying they're good choices but they exist and can help you show
you're dealing with credit responsibly over time.

My first VISA years ago was a secured account and it worked well for me
(also forced me to save since I had to deposit money to get the
account.)  If you don't want to do that you can by prepaid debit cards
so at least limit your exposure to what you loaded on that card.   

Also it's not just a choice between debit and credit - Cash is still
accepted almost everywhere.

For those of us that have no choice, as it seems to be getting more 
common. Even those that had great credit are losing their credit 
standings or at least greatly minimized.
