[ale] xscreensaver problem

I have this happen to me every once in a while as well. Whenever it
happens, I've got two screensaver-dialog processes running. One of them
seems to be hung and seems to be the culprit. Only started happening
for me after moving to F11 (and now F12). Since I also moved to 64 bit
systems at that time, I'm not sure if it relates to that. Next time it
happens, I'll try and diagnose it further... And to answer your
question, yeah, it's the gnome one.
