[ale] starting network in Kubuntu

You can run dhclient iface or dhclient3 iface to bring it up manually if you
are using DHCP on your network.  Or, if you are using IPv6 just bring up the
interface using ifconfig or ip and wait for stateless autoconfiguration to
occur.
