[ale] ALE ale outing : attempts at socializing generally unsociable people

I like the idea of outside under a pavilion in case it rains. Not only
that, me and the sun don't get along after about 30 minutes or so in the GA
summer. I don't drink beer so that's not an issue for me. Recommended
temperature 70 - 80.

As an alternative, we could do some variation on a LAN party. CPU magazine
had some nice articles on setting up such things. Turns out it's tricky to
provide a few hundred watts of power, a few square feet of space, seating,
high speed LAN / internet, cooling, food, and swag for a medium to large
group. I think it would be fun though. I know nothing about gaming, but
would be willing to attempt it. I've been hoping someone would set up
something up in this area. It seems they're all up north.

(PS - If you email me and don't get a quick response, you might want to
call on the phone. I get about 300 emails per day from alternate energy
mailing lists and such. I don't always see new messages very quickly.)
