[ale] Recommendations for basic blender tutorial?

Yeah, I saw that book but wondered if it was really what I was after.
BTW courtesy of another buddy of mine I found an excellent web-based
tutorial ( http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro ).
