Geratol shots with a metamucil chaser would work for this purpose as well :-)

side note: for people suffering from extreme malnutrition (i.e. near
death from starvation), an initial weeks feeding of 1/4 tsp sugar and
1/8 tsp salt in 1 Qt water helps make the digestive track begin to
function again. After that an additional 1-3 weeks of very, very thin
pablum gruel/broth is fed slowly increasing the solids over several
weeks up to thin oatmeal consistency. This regimen has shown
remarkable ability to bring famine victims back from the brink of
death.

While the World Health Organization uses a food like pablum in famine
relief situations, they do a mix of their own that is similar but uses
grain sources closer to the native varieties of the affected famine
regions.
