[ale] Central git repository with multiple users

Those are really good points.  It took me a long time to really get the hang of
cheap branches and other git features that are now on the top of my toolbox.

I guess that just begs the question, "Are there any good tutorials on using git
in the central repository model?"  Maybe the OP already asked that.
In any case,
I'd be interested to hear reviews.  I can always google for it, but personal
recommendations are nice to have.
