[ale] linksys wrt54GL router-weird..

ok, so I was using my wifes laptop, and all of a sudden I couldn't go to 
either my.yahoo.com or google.com. other links worked just fine, 
onlineathens.... most other URLS.. except att.net would try to resolve to 
att.my.yahoo.com and fail.
booted a Live CD and everything worked. everything worked on my Debian 
desktop, including yahoo & google..... plug in my OLD linksys wrt160N, and it 
worked fine. plug wrt54gl back in, nada. upgraded to dd-wrt and it now works 
again. at least now I am on dd-wrt. I was going to leave the original 
firmware in the 54gl for 2 weeks ( just installed this puppy!) but not after 
that issue! and yes, I changed the default user/password on the linksys, but 
I keep the wireless open. If I catch you coming up my driveway with a laptop, 
trying to steal my internet, I'll shoot first and ask questions later:-0)

did I mention I had 4 inches of rain today, in my rain gauge, when I came home 
( early) from work??
