I think an important thing to mention is that the EFF doesn't have the
bandwidth to represent the masses.   In this case they jumped in to
represent Mr Riccardo, but that raises the question of whether or not
the case would have been dumped if there wasn't the threat of an EFF
suit.   Everyone wants a big dog on their side...but rarely is that
reality.
