[ale] laptop advice needed

I've been real happy with my lenovo R50,although these days it's getting a
little out of date. Ubuntu installed on it without a hitch. I believe I can
suspend, although I don't generally bother.

If I buy another laptop, it'll probably also be a lenovo.
