[ale] OT: who's bought/seen Caprica?

I was under the impression $6 million man and Bionic Woman were both
done by the time BG started though I think the latter may have had some
overlap. I've never been a big fan of SciFi set in contemporary times
(such as BG 1980 and those two shows) but will admit it does actually
classify as such. I also thought Buck Rogers started after BG was gone
(though maybe was there with BG 1980). It was all there late 70s early
80s so overlap probably did occur.

To me SciFi that uses "the present" equates to "cheap" and
"unimaginative" for the most part because the "science" is only
incidental to the "fiction" which for both those series but basically
just spy/detective stuff. I much preferred things like Rockford Files
and Harry O to those 2.

I did not count WW as sci-fi. But I never missed an episode. :-) $6M
man _was_ sci-fi as was bionic woman. Buck Rogers was sci-fi (and
pretty bad).

I would _almost_ count Mork and Mindy as sci-fi...
