Has anyone here used dhcp_probe?

Or maybe suggest another tool for the same job...  I have a
client network on which I believe there may be a rogue DHCP
server running.  (I don't think it's malicious; I think this
particular server fell through the cracks of govt IT
beaureacracy.) Anyway, I need to track this beastie down
without actually USING it to reconfigure any network interfaces.

I've built dhcp_probe and run it on my net, but it fails
to detect my DHCP server running on the same wired segment,
so I'm not certain it's the right tool for the job :-/

Any suggestions?
