Yep. It is. Does "vacuum analyze" help any?

Just finding it hard to believe it's an interrupt problem,
usually such issues are in something stupid I did, or didn't do.

I've run some Java(tomcat)/PostgreSQL systems and seen them
bloat to a crawl, most of that was Tomcat going resource/CPU
insane... reboots would fix the issue for a while, rewriting
everything in PHP fixed it for good. :)
