I've always used Grip and EasyTag for editing the meta-data. I've 
noticed that RhythmBox seems to have a repping utility built in now, I 
haven't checked it out yet I have checked it's meta-data editing 
feature, I don't think it actually edits the file though, I haven't 
verified it yet.
