it shows up when I boot ( in the BIOS ), as being attached, and it actually 
shows the correct drive info. BUT after I boot, it doesn't show a drive in 
linux, fdisk /dev/sdb says no drive found, and in winders, the seagate 
utilities show my original drive, the CDROM, and that IS IT.
