$ ls -l /dev/cd*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 3 2009-12-09 03:49 /dev/cdrom -> sr0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 3 2009-12-09 03:49 /dev/cdrw -> sr0

$ lsmod|grep cdrom
cdrom                  30176  1 sr_mod


under control_center-removeable drives & media-storage, are the 2 mount 
commands checked?
