Use of Linux was stated by the officer to be a supporting reason in his
application for probable cause because of the "fact" that one would
only use it to evade law enforcement.

Not only is that a downright ignorant statement to make, but I don't
see how you can find it anything _but_ deeply offensive, unless you
ignore it completely.
