I dunno if I'd go *that* far. How much of a pain in the ass IPSec is
largely depends on your implementation. My personal preference for a
home network is to use use EasyVPN Server on a Cisco router, and
install the Cisco VPN client. This is a fairly cheap solution, given
how far the used Cisco gear market has depreciated.
OTOH, my solution for fixing a sendmail.cf implementation is pretty
simple to.
