[ale] eSATA with multiplexing?

I haven't tried port multiplexing (PM) yet, but it is fairly leading edge.
I suspect even the libata wiki may be out of date, but it is worth
looking at as a starting point. I just took a quick look and don't
even see PM covered on the charts, etc.

If you're not using a very current kernel you may want to try one.
If you are using one, then I'd ask questions directly on the Sata
Kernel mailing list. (They discuss port multiplexing (PM) fairly
often there.
