I have not installed 11 on anything. The last Oracle install I did was
9i onto Redhat 9. It was tedious and painful due to the large number of
compatibility libs. Ugly install but rock solid once done.
<rant> Given oracle resources and talent, why can't they write a decent
Linux installer? A .deb and a .rpm can't be beyond their coding
abilities, can it? </rant>
