I don't know about feeds in FF, but yahoo/google/etc don't necessarily
poll at the maximum allowable rates specified in a feed.   Rather they
seem to poll at their own rates... sometimes increasing them on
popular feeds.  You might want to try a client feedreader where you
can specify the maximum poll rate.
