[ale] diff on 2 directories

Is there some sort of loop going on at the mail server?  This is at
least the 3rd time I've received this message and I've noticed getting
others at least twice at dissimilar times.

This isn't as geeky as using diff, but I like Meld.  I has been great
for me to compare files and directories.  I have used it for very large
dir trees in the past.  It will also allow you to compare 3 trees.
