I believe that the current site is maintained with Wordpress and part of 
the purpose is to allow multiple folks the ability to update it.

I personally don't see a problem with the site.  I don't know what tools 
you plan to use for this effort, but I'm not a big fan of flash and all 
that crap, so I hope that's not your intent.

Function first.  Appearance next, I candy goes on the desktop, not the 
website.
