no, I was trying to hook up my HP 5610 all-in-one using hp-setup, which 
fails.I had originally not know about hp-setup.. my HP 8510 photo printer is 
recognized and works fine, even as a networked printer. My wife uses the 8510 
for photo printing. I use the 5610 for WORK, scanning receipts, printing 
reports... but I had been using it on my XP laptop. I wanted to hook it to my 
Debian desktop and also set it up as a networked printer.
