Sorry. As a self introduction, I'm a Linux enthusiast
from Athens, GA, who now lives in Brookhaven. I
like debian, emacs, ed, vi, Bourne shell, kernel hacking,
R, and various scripting languages.

Right now I think it's probably the CPU, but I notice
that the fan on the memory controller isn't spinning,
but I'm not sure whether it's heat-activated or not.

Anyway, I could fix it but it would require getting
parts, and I'd rather get them from a shop where
I can put them in and see if they help, or have them
do it.

I do think there's a good chance that repairing the
machine might be more trouble or cost than getting
a new one.

Thanks for suggesting that someone on the list
might have parts.

Anybody have a CPU for an Asus A7V133 motherboard?
It would be an AMD Duron or Athlon for Socket A or
Socket 462.
