As others have said, you get what you pay for - a professional logo is
worth the cost,
as long as you get it from a real professional, and not someone's
neighbor's cousin who's
failing out of art school and needs some cash for dope....
And if you want a professional logo, be sure to treat it like a
professional job - I have seen
a number of posts on the web lately from various professions
complaining that everyone thinks their job is
easy, and expects "samples" for free. (Not that you seemed this way,
but the budgetary limits sometimes
drive that aspect)
