[ale] X wants nvidia libraries

Something similar happened to me not too long ago. The file libglx.so is a
symlink to libglx.so.yourversionnumberhere, which should also be in the same
directory. Seeing if that file is there would be a good first step. My
problem was that I was trying to install the newest Nvidia drivers from
their site over the one I got from the Ubuntu repos; it was pretty painful.
